URBAN PLANNING, DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

Carrum Downs is the transformation a former sand quarry into a local residential development clustered amongst a series of new public parks and creating a missing road link. The design for the 4.9-hectare site includes over 200 townhouses in a variety of types and configurations distributed around over 5,000m² of new public parks.

A green corridor of varying widths runs north-south through the site, creating recreation and play spaces as well as additional pedestrian links across the site and to Oakwood Drive Reserve. A new road link is being created to enhance connectivity within the neighbourhood, connecting two existing dead-end roads.

We are proud to acknowledge the Bunurong Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the Country in which the Carrum Downs project is located. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture.
