Bruce Street Towers

Genton’s shortlisted design for a vertical community of social and private housing. A focus on liveability and amenity for all residents was the core driver of this scheme and resulted in deliberate strategy to create two slender tower forms to maximise access to greater light, views and cross ventilation.

The resulting break between the two towers was used as an opportunity to re-stitch the site in with the surrounding pattern of urban laneways and the space was envisaged as a point for communal and public space to become blurred in order to foster integration and sense of community for residents.
